EVGA OR GIGABYTE?

I am confused which is better 

The EVGA gtx 1080 FTW         OR

The Gigabyte gtx 1080 extreme gaming

I don't want to choose for looks, I only want to know which one is cooler, faster and and more overclockable!!

They are both roughly the same. Get whichever one is cheaper.

EVGA has way better customer support and a better warranty.

I voted for EVGA, but both companies have good support. I'd suggest the one that looks best to you.

Definitely EVGA after the fiasco I had last spring with trying to get Gigabyte to replace a two bad fans on a 980Ti.

You shouldn't avoid a company for one event, no offense.

Yes but it was the first time I ever felt offended dealing with a RMA, two fans were rattling so bad that I could hear them in the next room and two reps tried telling me it was normal.  After two weeks of emails and calls I pulled the system apart and ran it outside the case so I could get video of how bad they were shaking and rattling, they finally believed me that it wasn't just normal fan noise.
