Discord help

So I have bad internet but everything runs ok, except discord. Some things just take multiple tries and stuff but even with discord that doesn't work. How do I fix this? League, Skype, web browsers etc. work fine but discord sometimes won't update and when it does I just get a blank app like this

It won't let me uninstall it so I can reinstall it.

Start > Control Panel > Add or Remove Programs > select Discord > uninstall ?

really? it wont let you? do you have admin rights?

I have admin rights but it says the program is running when it's not so I can't delete it.

okay so then exit the program
if it doesnt let you exit and is stuck
then go into task manager and select Discord > End Task

 

then uninstall

But it's not running, not showing up in task manager or anywhere else. It just simply says it's running so it can't delete it.

I've done that, it takes a while for my internet to work on my computer for some reason. Then discord doesn't work again

Try uninstalling it in safe mode and try doing a clean install of discord.

I have used Discord a lot on terrible internet, but it would just show the rotating loading head, not a blank screen.

That's what it used to do the. It started doing this recently.
