I assumed i would be able to force desktop sites like i did on android on ios, but boy was I wrong. Requesting desktop site does nothing on ios. Anyway of forcing it into desktop view short of using a browser like dolphin or puffin? And before anyone brings it up, theres nothing wrong with the desktop site. I just like to be able to see the most recently updated topics in each subsection of the forum without having to go into each one individually.

How do i put in a request for a site feature?

The forum adapts to your screen resolution/size, to make it less of a clusterfuck on smaller screens.

Even on desktop, if you shrink your browser's window, it will end up looking the same as it does on your ios/android devices.

It doesn't work on Android since the forum update as I recall. There is a place to recommend features https://linustechtips.com/main/forum/81-feature-suggestions/

I had it working on the last build of FF for android. Was the only broswer I could do it on though. I will suggest a full desktop site link.

I noticed this. Its annoying on desktop though. I have has res monitors and giving the forums half or a quarter of the screen causes it to swith.

It forces into desktop site. But if you have been on ltt in mobile, must clear out temp data first.

Edit:

@Scruffy90

Just tried it out right now. It doesn't seem to work anymore. Not only for LTT but for other sites too, such as Anandtech. Google still works into desktop mode. :\

Well it did work about a week or so ago.

What's the screen resolution of your android device?

The lower resolution it is, the less likely it is that it will show the full size LTT forum over the one adapted to smaller screens(mobile)

My tablet is 1280x800, desktop and mobile mode for LTT on Dolphin, Chrome and Opera all look the same to me.

My screen is 720p and the "request desktop" option works!
