What channels do you get and also like so you just plug it in your PC and you have to boot from it right? Also when you boot into it, does it have like a new OS like a TV?

1. they're ad on cards, need a driver and software to run in your OS. My htpc still runs windows 7 so all the dvr on that pc is done with windows media center (I'm lazy and it works pretty well tbh)

2. It's a tuner, you'll install it scan channels. Any free to air channels your digital tv picks up, you'll be able to get those channels.

Is there some tutorial or something on how to install it, it sounds very complicated.

Something like a USB tuner dongle (or even a pci/pci-e one if your pc case space) is very easy to install, download the software from the manufacturer and 99% will run a setup wizard to do it all for you. Companies like hauppauge make some good ones

You get all the digital free ones in the air. This won't with the comcast or att tv systems.

So will it come with AMC news, The Big Bang Theory, The Simpsons and food channels? Is there like a list or something that I could see what channels the USB dongle has to offer?

It comes with many shows, but eventually it runs out of shows, and you need to buy a new one. Also, you won't get shows from before the card was made, because they have not been downloaded onto the dongle.

You will get all TV you would on an ordinary TV. You won't get cable TV without a special cable TV dongle. There are satellite ones too.

Unfortunatly, Microsoft removed Windows Media Center from Windows 10.

It was really good, although the Windows XP version (A special edition of XP called XP Media Center Edition) was a lot better.

The dongle is only the 'tuner' from a tv it will access terrestrial tv, you will need to plug in an antenna. As everyone else has said, you will only get the channels  broadcast for free from a radio tower in your country.

If you go to an electronics store, buy a tv, plug in an antenna, what ever chancels the tv will get you can get with a usb dongle.
