WD TV Live. There is a lot of options, but I just like the WD TV Live the best.

So my grandpa is getting a new PC and has a 55" LCD in his bedroom.

 

He wants to know if their is a Device that can plug into your TV and you can view media from a shared folder on the PC such as Movies, Music, and photos!

 

 

Anyone know of such a thing?

It need to be WiFi because his house isn't wired for cat5

Chromecast all the way.

My Pc: Cpu: I7 4790k @ 4,8 Ghz @1,25 volts, Motherboard: Maximus VII Formula, Graphicscard: 2x Titan X @1,4 at stock voltage (soon to be replaced), Ram: 32 gb Corsair Dominator Platinum 2133 Cl 9, SSD: 2x 850 Pro 1 Tb in Raid 0, 2x Samsung 840 Evo 1 tb raid 1,, PSU: Corsair HXi Series 1000W 80+ Platinum, Case: H440. Soon to be watercooled again, maybe, probably, the Titans are too loud.

you have an extra xbox 360 lying around suprisingly it works well streams every thing I got down to my hdhomerun prime. For once microsoft made something that actualy works and works well

I have a ps3 but it dosent work with mp4 or ACC playback movies and sound like 15% of the time it plays them.
