What would be the best 1080 to get for maximum preformance? Price isnt too much of a concern.

I'd go for a water-cooled card like EVGA's FTW Hybrid for maximum performance. That being said, it will only be marginally faster (like 2-5% after overclocks) over say an EVGA Superclocked version.

Most AIB cards OC to 2000Mhz no problem. so its more like which one looks better in your opinion and runs cooler.

Unless you want to go to a Titan, the best 1080 would be the one that looks best.

...Like you're going to tell the difference once your GPU is in your case. Even a 5% gain is basically nothing, say 3~4 frames per second.

What difference? RGB LED's?

From what I remember - the logic is - upgrade the GPU when you can get a minimum of double the performance.
