1070 build suggestions

I am going for a 1440p setup with a gtx 1070 and currently an i5 6600k and 8gb of ram would this drive 60 fps at 1440 on newer titles?

it really depends on the settings and the title man, but 1440p 60FPS should be achievable on all titles on medium or greater.

The 1070 works great for 1440p. I'm running Gears of War on Ultra and getting 70fps on average.

Probably even better, it usually gets 60fps on high or even ultra. Can't think of many games that require medium.

thats why i said medium or better, deus ex being the benchmark for that.

Yeah, but that's a bit rare, outside of the most intense titles high is pretty much assured.

a 1070 should get high or max settings on most games and hit 60 fps no problem
