I need some help my pc is in for repair and the computer shop has said that 2 of my HyperX savage 480g are no longer working.

so they said we can take all 4 out and replaces then with 500g samsung 750 evo?

i know theres a price diffrence but need some advice should i just stay with hyperx savage and wait for new stock?

or go with the 4 750 evo

why would you pick samsung? please

Meh mostly brand loyalty

I mean they aren't bad compared to the savages,

If you can't wait just get the 750's they aren't bad, i would say the perform roughly the same (750 i say is faster)

Samsung has higher quality drives. TBH, the 750s Are nothing special, but better than most other ssds.

look, usually some stuff are more expensive because of something... USUALLY that expensive stuff is a quality product...

for example i've had my samsung ssd for 3 years now, and it has been swapped in 4 different pc and laptops... it never gave me a problem at all...

Well didn't two HyperX SSDs fail you already?

Samsung makes some awesome and reliable SSDs.  I do however find it very odd that two HyperX SSDs failed you at the same time.  Any chance that your repair facility is just trying to make some money?

Go for Samsung, but ask for your broken SSDs back. it's very likely that your SSDs are not broken, but something else like a SATA connector is loose.
