We know nothing about Zen...it could be good, it could be bad...it might even get delayed...

if you have the time(6 more months aprox) wait and see how zen is going to do, if you want/need it before newyear get the 6500

Zen, no matter how bad, could bring down the prices of intel's current monopoly. From the rumors I've heard however, Zen's performance probably won't be game changing. I agree with @malon, if you can wait, then wait, if not buy.
