RX 460 Help

Recently finished building my PC however I noticed something funny with my gpu's fan. It spins for roughly 2 seconds, stops and repeats this cycle. I decided to see whether or not my system is reading my gpu and it is not. Need help!

Did u intall the drivers. and which port did u connect it too? on the mobo or gpu?

I installed the drivers and optimized the settings. I tried running a game to test the gpu but the game wont start up

Where did you plug in the cable to your display?

sorry for late response, it was a resolution problem. Everything is working fine now, I can play minesweeper at 30fps
