I am looking for a PS2 in the Langley-area. I am not sure of any good stores with PS2 systems, I've checked local major malls, Ebay, etc. I found a few good deals, except I am looking for the best deal. I don't care what it looks like, etc.

I just miss playing some old games like SW BattleFront 2, GTA San Andreas, Mercenaries 2: World in Flames, etc.

Anyone know any really good sources?

You can find good deals on PS2 systems in thrift stores usually.

Have you considered emulating? (you can emulate official disks, so you're still on the safer side of the grey zone)

Otherwise, thrift stores, maybe ask around, chances are someone in your neighborhood has one collecting dust and wants to flip it for a tenner.

Tried, PC blackscreened made a sound that made me shit myself and I never tried it again.

Have you tried a Craigslist like site? (I think Canada has Kijiji?). It's one of the most sold consoles ever, so it's likely someone is selling one at all times.

You should also Google a bit for (retro) video game stores that are not the country/world wide chains. Those often have good deals too.

It's a shame for you, you don't live in Europe because I could sell one to you if you were.
