The motherboard choice isn't the best. The Z170 Stinger is like the SuperNovaNEX of motherboards. There are better ones that are cheaper or in the same price point that offer more features.

Here's a cheaper MicroATX i7-non OC build if you need the hyperthreading for productivity.

You can add a cpu cooler although it isn't necessary.

It's money wasted on the aesthetics. For ~$150 it's got no M.2 for SSD/USB 3.1 or Type C/WIFI, things you can find on the cheaper Gigabyte Z170N.

I really agree with most of what you said, however you could get the Gigabyte GTX 1060 D5 instead of the OC, which is a bit cheaper, but i love that you crammed an i7 in there!

The Windforce OC was $249.99 on Amazon a few hours ago w/c is why I went with it. Now that it's $260 the D5 is certainly the go to 1060.

Y'all are the best!  Thank you so much!  I wanted to go with an I5 6500 BUT the damn lowest specs for BF1 says you have to have a I5 6600k!...crazy

BF1 isn't as CPU intensive as games like GTA V so you can getaway with an i3+1060. W/c means an i5-6500 is more than enough but with 6600K you get more 'future proofing'.
