Looking for the perfect case

ManuKnife
Go to solution Solved by Energycore,

Alright, I have to say sorry already, I understand this is probably an often asked question however, at this point I'm desperate, do you have any recommendations for a case?

I'm currently rockin' a Corsair Air 540, I like it a lot but the noise isolation is practically non-existent and it doesn't have much watercooling support. Do NOT recommend the Air 740, too gamery.

I'm looking for a case to support:

- An ATX mobo, with full ATX PSU;

- Full side-panel window, I'm not picky about tempered glass, plexi or whatever it may be.

- 2 x 360mm rads at minimum, the more radiator, the better;

- Space isn't an issue, so there's no limitation there;

- 2 x 3.5" drives alongside 3 x 2.5" drives (minimum), I don't care for 5.25" drive cages anymore, if it's there, I don't mind. If not, meh;

- Steel chassis with any kind of exterior.

- Preferably some kind of noise isolation whether it be some kind of front facing panel which reduces noise from the front fans, though this isn't a necessity.

Thanks in advance.

No price range, just try to keep it under £300 :P

I'm certain I don't mind the size.

Thanks for the recommendations, seems as though you've confirmed the fact that the perfect case is non-existent. :P

Enthoo Primo = Looks too empty even when completely filled and some modding would be required to change the LED colours

Enthoo EVOLV = Too small, (maximum of a 240mm and 360mm) under practical circumstances.

Seems like a reasonable choice, putting it up there with the Enthoo Primo. Anything else? Or are you stumped?

Yeah I think those are all the ones I can recommend. Actually, take a look at this

Worth looking at are the Rosewill Nighthawk and the Corsair 600C

Alright, well, thanks for all the help, I'll probably end up purchasing the Enthoo Primo as originally forethought and mod it... Severely, or wait for the next watercooling enthusiast case to be released. Not perfect, but damn close.

I would go with any of these three cases if you want a side display. All are way under your budget.

Mastercase Pro 5. Fractal Design Define S (it already has a huge window and by far the best silent cooling performance of ANY case on the market.)

I'm running dual 980tis custom water-cooled in the Define S. It's a dream. And 1080s consume a lot less than the 980tis do.
