The G2s are out of stock everywhere in the UK as I can see, any suggestions for a better one around the same price please?

Yeah 120GB SSD is big enough to put your OS, browsers and base steam install but I use about 150GB(of 250GB so far) because its faster for some other programs that I use.

yes. more than enough. for a non oc cpu and rx 480 then even 500w would be enough.

An apu is a GPU and CPU on the same chip.... at this budget I would go with mine...... even so avoid amd at this budget at all cost... intel cpu's will win this hands down. AS well the 1060 is slightly better than the 480 the difference is drivers and honestly I prefer nividia's to amd.

was never a fan of the mini graphics cards. Unless he is going to OC the GPU I would go for a full size but either mine, yours, and that i7 is pretty much a solid bet.

Hi,

I have designed a PC for my friend, and he is about to buy it, just wanted a final opinion.

http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/list/BC3NzM

don't buy a NEX PSU, they're sub par

Corsair CX/builder series isn't that great either

Changed things around for the better IMO

Also threw in a silence optimized case at the same price point

There's nothing wrong with the card. It's got good OC capabilities(up to 2050 Mhz based on a youtuber's vid) and keeps temps the below 70 under load. On top of all that, it stays relatively silent @ 65-70% fan speed.

And sorry but I don't think your build compares to mine, and our budgets are almost identical with that 1060 on yours actually costing £265.

-i5-6600k paired with non-OC board

-low tier psu for an i5-1060 build

-128gb ssd
