Desktop running Windows 7 Ulitmate can not install any programs/applications.

I think I had an issue like that when I first installed Windows Vista. The solution was to change or disable UAC, or something like that.

 

How long has your Windows 7 installation been setup, and were programs installing normally with this installation for a while, and then this suddenly started happening?

No, its a windows desktop. I justed downloaded a file from google docs to see if it works.

i could only think of 2 possible things.

 

1: You are not the system admin.

2: Or your system is infected with malware or ranson ware.
