What's up all!

I am planning to open some kind of an omline gaming ground where actual teams can play alongside and prepare for compatitions and just hang around.

The games are, of course, not really demanding: LOL, WOT, ST2 and CS:GO. After some time, I would probably move to some VR titles (if online titels would accure haha), but for now - only games all of us like. So, I just wanted to ask your opinion guys: what builds do actually need to meet the requirements for such games and for how long should I plan to not upgrade them? Especially, what GPUs should I pick?

Thanks in advance!

I'm going to presume that you're going to open a gaming cafe of sorts (without the cafe bit) so as if you want it to be an actual place for people to be able to compete/practice seriously ect. You'll want the PCs to be somewhat power and for CS, people appreciate 120fps+ for the simple fact that 128 tick servers don't play nice with sub 120fps...been there, stuttering, hit reg issues ect. all caused by FPS so yah? :D

The RX460 is a good place to start (although you could go for more power or slightly less like a 750ti maybe) :P

Looking at my signature are we now? Well too bad there's nothing here...

Lol yep, that's quite accurate! But, well, its not only fps itself, but the spirit and the place to play side by side.

Thought the thing is not to start with the cheepest option, but to pick the right one to have highest fps for a while. Besides, I do not know what this "for a while" is...

if you're wanting to play titles in VR, the rx 460 will be inadequete, you'll need an rx 470 at the minmum. if not, the rx 460/gtx 950 will do fine.

CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 5600X Heatsink: Gelid Phantom Black GPU: Palit RTX 3060 Ti Dual RAM: Corsair DDR4 2x8GB 3000Mhz mobo: Asus X570-P case: Fractal Design Define C PSU: Superflower Leadex Gold 650W

dont get the 750TI, it has problems with CS:GO at anything above low, or mine does atleast

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

Builds:

The Toaster Project! Northern Bee!

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)

Spoiler

A few VR machines and a few RX460/950 machines? The VR machines can obviously do both :P

i would go RX 460s or RX 470s, not much more then that needed in the GPU department and then a low end I5 or high end I3 with that

460? I'd say 470 for the safer option. Cos then you know it will definitely get 120+fps.

VR machines only would be able to accomodate more people, but would be more costly. a mix of VR machines and rx 460/gtx 950 would be cheaper, but may not be enough for everyone, especially if there's alot of people. will have to depend on his budget.

180-200fps with a i5 2300 and 560 (non-ti)...I think a RX460 is enough :P (although there was MAJOR stuttering which I presume was the 1GB of Vram at fault :/).

Intel core i3 will do fine (but if you want VR then get an i5).

AMD Radeon RX 460 (if you want VR then get RX 480)

120GB Samsung 850 EVO SSD (people will appreciate quick boot up times)

1TB Seagate or Western Digital 7200rpm HDD (Plenty of space for games)

a 500w Corsair RMx Power Supply

16GB RAM (Again, in case they want to open millions of chrome tabs in the background).

and well a nice looking case - You want to please the customer
