Windows 8.1upgrade failed

Every time I try to restart my computer to complete the update I get the error message: IRQL_not_less_or_equal

System:
2500k
6950
Asus p8p67 deluxe
850 watt PSU
OCZ agility 3 for boot drive.

 

Have updated drivers and bios. Still getting the same message.

 

Update: The problem was a driver issue with the Asus PCE-n53 wireless card.

Did you try checking if your drivers are compatible with Windows 8.1? Got that BSOD a while back when I tried the 8.1 preview. My wireless adapters weren't compatible.

---edit scratch that, it was the windows 8 upgrade assistant not 8.1. I really need to wear glasses

Just try looking for 8.1 compatible drivers for your system.
