Gaming Laptop For under 1k

Hey guys, my current laptop for school, gaming and content creation is currently going out.... Any suggestions for a good looking laptop with an i7 and at least an 960m 2 gb and preferable ddr4 over ddr3 ram?

Runs hot, loud, has crap battery life and keyboards are prone to failure

like the specs but it looks like a brick and im likely gonna have it for like 5 years so want something sleeker

My none gaming laptop has lasted me since 2011 granted i baght it top of the line

That's 4 years - and non-gaming laptops last longer due to the low heat output of ULV CPUs.

They routinely go on sale. I snagged the i7 version for $800.

 

EDIT: Wait, I got it on sale for $700. I went back and had a look at the invoice.
