I know if you go to Advanced View then Tools > Computing Preferences you can set the CPU usage, but I don't see anything for GPU usage either in the client or on a project's settings. It seems to be either on or off.

Hey @Levent - any ideas?

Because I'm going to start folding soon, you could set it to one GPU and underclock the tar out of it for a makeshift throttle in multi-gpu array, correct?

Yes, for folding, the only way to reduce the GPU is to undervolt it - but then that affects overall usage as well...

thanks whaler i will also add this to faq (still not done) and afaik there is no way to lower gpu usage boinc just allows %100 usage and it depends on projects to use %100 or not
