Very few people are running firepros and support is limited. 

Quadro or Firepro is a case by case scenario and not just a blanket answer. Some applications use OpenCL which the Firepro excels at.

Basically

- Is this for a company? if it is buy the a quadro/firepro. There more reliable and have better driverse

 

-If not, do you need the ram?

 

-Do you need FP64?

Its much closer now, and also the workstation markter share is over 90:10 quadro to firepro, so might as well use whats supported.
