So to that my question would be, is there a combo out there of similar value/specs that hits either colour combo (red/black or blue/white)

It is extremely hard to get an ATX with blue color but if you want

Can't find any UK

Other than that. Get a MSI Gaming 1080

2nd attempt at this after some input from reddit and PCpartpickers but always good to have a 3rd opinion.

Dream build that I've been pining over for a long time to replace my 7 year old rig.

Built with expansion and OC experimentation in mind hopefully this rig should play every game for the forseeable future at a high level.

The screen for me is the linch pin of the build with everything designed to make the most of its 34" of curved beauty!

Have at it folks and let me know what you think.

Cheers

  • The motherboard M.2 slot #0 shares bandwidth with SATA 6.0 Gb/s ports. When the M.2 slot is populated, two SATA 6Gb/s ports are disabled.

So to that my question would be, is there a combo out there of similar value/specs that hits either colour combo (red/black or blue/white)?

Why do you have 2 cpu coolers?

you can get a smaller 450/500w psu.

I kept the 650w in for future proofing/expansion. SLI is a possibility I'd like to explore at some point.

I would drop the Blu-Ray/DVD drive as it will ruin the aesthetics. Go with an external drive if you need one.

It would be easiest just to swap out the gpu for the MSI GTX 1080 Gaming X as mentioned above. If you go with the Blue motherboard then you will need to change the ram as well.

Nice build otherwise :)
