This is just based on the looks of the ram since I can get both of them at the same clock speed. I like the looks of the Corsair Vengeance LED when it lights up but I still can't give up the brushed aluminium looks of the Gskill TridentZ. Also I don't need to worry about the price because they're priced the same where I live. Here are a few pictures for both ram:
