Backup an SSD which has windows on it

How can I backup my SSD and backup the OS, i need to format the ssd since its not functioning properly and i may have to take it into the shop. any help appreciated

Get separate drive, backup important stuffs only, and reinstall windows?

external hard drive? and why backup the OS? just move your IMPORTANT stuff on to the external drive and reinstall windows.

I havent got this disk to reinstall windows, I have a HDD in the PC

I havent got the disk to reinstall windows. but i have a HDD to backup to

Download: VeeamEndpointBackup (Its Free)

After Installation an first start you could do a Recovery Image. And after this you do a full Backup of the complete System. The first image ist to recovery the complete os(including driver if you want) on a new system. Second is to recover data. No easier way to do this then with this tool.
