Posted September 14, 2016 hi guys, new to all this so go easy decided to have a go at entry level PC gaming and have built my first rig on a tight budget so go easy although my hardware isnt the newest on the market its enough for what i need. MOBO; MSI 970 Gaming CPU; FX6300 @ 4.2gHz RAM; 12gb DDR3 1600mHz Hyperx SSD; Kingston 120gb (os only) HDD 1.5TB SATA7200rpm GPU Asus GTX750TI 2GB PSU Atnc 550W PSU as mentioned its not great but it does everything i want it to do but ive now got "the bug" and want more! where would you go next? i was thinking of changing my GPU for a MSI RX470 8GB is the card any good? how much of a performace increase can i expect compared to the 750ti? thanks Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... Posted September 14, 2016 470 crushes 750ti but i recommend u go for rx480 so that u can play most games at highest settings and trust me u will thank me later And buy 8 gb ram its more than enough. Posted September 14, 2016 Look for second hand gpus. A lot of the 900 series gpus like the 970, 980 are going as cheap as a 480 or less for better performance.
