Once again, I changed my build plans. The total build is like $2035 without any special offers. Includes monitor and keyboard. With special offers (if I would buy now) it's $1853. Also reason for 750w PSU is for future SLI. So yeah, heres my parts list http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/user/TheMidnightNarwhal/saved/2ABU . My first build plan were like 2.2k and I'm pretty happy I reduced it to $2035, without speaking of special offers, which should be there when I will actually buy my parts.

$2000 and only a GTX 760? You really need to rethink this build, mate.

Why not drop the H100i the corsair fans and then get a better GPU?

Because... this might seem stupid he he, but I'm really fond on aesthetics and a colored scheme. So with the corsair fans with the red rings under the rad is beautiful :3 Also I will get another 760 in the future, or even when I buy my parts if I can get like 250$ off in special offers, that means a free GPU so yeah.

Well, any ideas for a 2k build?

Hold on, let me quickly make something with PCPartpicker.

Corsair fans are good, but from what I've heard they're not as good (performance, sound) as Noctua, Bitfenix, or Silverstone. As well, get a 7950 or 7970 instead of the 760.

Yeah, but I'm going for corsair's fans for the red rings... mainly :3. And they aren't that bad either ^_^ Also for the 7950, well I want CUDA cores for AE so no AMD GPU. Also, loved more the benchmarks results of the 760.

You could probably put another 280X in there as well and I kept your red/black theme.

edit : I'm not sure why the Shine 3 is showing up in there... edit2: k now it's fixed.

Total comes at $2125.78 without offers. And there's 780...so not to bad really. I will see with your advice (totally forgot MSI after seeing ASUS he he) and will make another post. Thanks for the suggestions.

@TheSLSAMG  Wouldn't I be better off getting 2 GTX 760 SLI for $579.98 instead of one 780 for $719.99???

No. The GTX 780, while it will perform a little bit worse, will allow for better expansion in the future. Also, more VRAM helps as well, so if you do go with the GTX 760 SLI, which you shouldn't, get 4GB cards.

Well I suppose we will see the day I purchase my parts. If with a 780 my build goes over 2.1K I will get 760 SLI. Also why the EVO instead of plain 840?

You can tske a normal 840, it's just that the EVO is a bit faster.

Ok, and also the main reason why I wanted the Hero instead of MSI is because of the sound. ROG seem to have the best on board audio, and I do not plan to buy any sound cards so I don't know... .

To be honest, the same quality of sound can be had from a $40 sound card.

Well the price difference is 50$, and you get more than just sound, so I suppose the ROG Hero is worth it ^_^

The difference being of course that with the motherboard audio, there is more of a chance of interference than with a dedicated card.
