upgrading gpu

Hello, I was thinking of upgrading my gpu to a EVGA GeForce GTX 1060 6BG SC and I would like to know if it is a good choice and compatible with the rest of the PC .

Motherboard: ASRock B75 Pro3

Processor: Intel i5 2500k

Power supply: XFX pro 550W

RAM: 8,00GB Dual-Channel DDR3 @ 665MHz

Current gpu: AMD Radeon HD 7700

Screen: Samsung S22B350
