Welp, Will the heavy card break the mb?

DestinyRevenger

I want to buy a zotac 1080 amp extreme but that thing is heavy and my original msi gtx 980 already look like it is going to break the mb, will that happen ever? I mean should I weep up some support for that new graphic card? P.S. My mb is ausu rampage series.

If you really want to be ghetto, you can stick some tape to the side of your case and stick the other end of the tape to the gpu, that's what I did to mine but my case is small so i had to leave the case open or else my gpu would not fit.

I misread titles/posts way too often--correct me if I don't.

It's not possible to happend because you will secure it with screws anyway to the case.
