BIOS is nuts in Lenovo M5400...

A friend of mine got aftermarket Lenovo M5400, got custom RAM, one from ADATA, another from Kingston, all 4 GBs 1600 MHz, no problems with that though. Got it for a week or less. When he bought it, it worked fine. Almost. Until display decided to turn off. Not a problen, fixed. Friend decided to update drivers. Done, but perfomance downgraded so strong, so he deleted them and reinstalled old ones. Didn't reset the system though. Now it isn't even going to turn on.

The thing is, when stock HDD is installed, BIOS doesn't load, no responce from F1 too... Take it out, and it boots up. Unfortunately, couldn't start RemixOS from USB Drive, but at least I could run BIOS setup.

Tried to remove both batteries for a long period of time, didn't help to reach BIOS Setup, but it worked once...

Already formatted Win partition of drive, didn't format second part. Didn't help, need to install 8.1 from USB (before was installed Win 10 10240).

What can I do? Ran out of ideas...

The original LAN PC build log! (Old, dead and replaced by The Toaster Project & 5.0)
