Having trouble deciding for a new build. Both are the same price, and both have depots 3 hours away from me. Which one is just generally better quality?

I'm biased towards the Asus, since I had the Hero Alpha, which I'm currently no longer using.

So the Hero is my pick.

Nothing, just went ITX since I was carrying around my PC alot.

So I went smaller to make it easier. That's all.

Well, it's a solid built board. Its not "alpha armored" asus, but it runs like a dream.

Built a similar one for a friend when he saw mine. Just 1 1070 and 1 950Pro in his setup

Some sites score it slightly lower in overall performance than the Hero, but nothing worrying. Granted it was an older review done in November of 2015. BIOS updates might have rectified those missing 2-3FPS. Shame they don't re-test.

Both boards are basicly good choices, just pick the one that fits your needs best in terms of feutures.

I personaly would go with the Hero.
