Best laptop under $450?

So I'm looking for a laptop around $450-$500. I need a good cpu and dedicated graphics would be nice (they don't have to be super good, just a bit better then integrated ones) If the price is a bit over $450, that's fine. I'm looking at one, but it's a bit out of my budget at $550. It's an Acer Aspire  E 15 with a 256gb ssd, i5 6200u, 940mx gpu, and 8gb of DDR4 memory. Anything similar to that at a cheaper price would be nice. Thanks!

I remember seeing this one and was happy until I found out there was no DVD player. I might consider this one and just get a portable DVD player. Thanks

Don't. It's a very poor product and is not worth your money. Avoid Acer in general. 90% of their machines are designed very poorly and not likely to last. Keep in mind that iGPUs are now as powerful as 930Ms or so.

Acer is as bad as it gets. They don't know how to build quality laptops, they don't know how to cool the CPU and dGPU.

The reason why they are cheap and seem like a good bang for your buck it because they offer higher hardware than other laptops for the same price, BUT they build them really poorly.

Acer are the only brand I have ever told someone to avoid as a whole. If you've seen my posts, you'd see I advocate looking at each model rather than the whole brand but in this case, just avoid them as a whole.

I have an acer aspire E1 and it's lasted awhile but it's dying now and the chassis broke a long time ago. It's not reliable at all.

I didn't know that Acer was thought of so lowly here, and as I said, I have always had good luck with Acer's products and so have my friends. I'll look around more, but do you guys have any suggestions?
