Bandwith Compatiblity Question: Corsair Vengeance

Go to solution Solved by SLAYR,

It shouldn't matter, only if there is an "e" for unregistered ecc, "r" for registered ecc, or an "s" for sodimm would you possibly have issues. Never heard of "j", but it should be just standard ddr3 1600MHz, which may also have a "u" at the end depending on the maker.

I have two sticks with PC3 12800J (found it using CPU-Z) right now and am looking to pick more of it. However on Newegg and other sites, I can't find any with that listing. I can only find PC3 12800. Is the 12800J and 12800 compatible? Does it even matter?
