So, I know this guy who wants me to build him a PC for close to $100.  I know its not very reasonable, but I'm trying anyway.  I watched Linus' video on how to build a $150 computer, but can't seem to figure out the sizes of server motherboards.  I'm not sure if its just the lack of information on ebay, or if server motherboards come in weird sizes, but I was hoping someone on the LTT forums could help.  Here is the mobo I'm looking at: http://www.ebay.com/itm/like/302054582387?lpid=82&chn=ps&ul_noapp=true.

Any lga 771 motherboard around $40 would work, so I am open to suggestions as long as I can easily find a size and a cheap case to fit it.  Thanks!

Then you don't want a dual CPU board. Any LGA775 that supports a C2Q would be good, as would any LGA1155 and onward-based system.

Craigslist/a garage sale would be a good place to find complete and cheap.

If you want a good cheap system look on craigs list of used computer shops.

You can get a good core 2 duo system for that price or a low end core i series system.

Id stay away from those old server boards, they run hot, and often don't have normal power connectors.

That board looks like ssi eeb

Performance isn't really what he cares about, I just need to know about the sizes of server motherboards.

I understand that, but trying to build a system from parts is going to end up costing more than just buying a cheap/old used computer. AND you're wasting a lot of money on hardware you don't need and that will be hard to find.
