Not to sound rude, but it's like people can't love without an app for every single thing.

Considering this forum is only an expense to LMG (iirc the hardware is in their HQ and it was in the house before that?) there is no reason to invest more resources in something that would give negligible improvements.

Forum is hosted by real hosting company in real server somewhere in US. Not in LMG offices. Which is why it has been up-ish for long periods of time.

You don't need a published api, this site technically has a api, if it didn't i couldn't send this message, what it doesn't have is a dedicated api, and you don't really need that, you can get by the scraping html, some of the best apps i use have to go that route because they are third party, or you could just use Cordova and restyle the whole site so its easier on mobile

I'm interested on how that would happen? It took over year to upgrade from IPS3 to IPS4 and now you are saying doing better mobile with that thing would take only bit over month? I'm sorry if I sound rude and skeptical. I understand very little of coding/programming/designing. But I know things take time to get everything right.

It's just as fast as any app would be without all the coding bulls*** required for a standalone app.

the mods said no and they won't think about making one for a while as it would provide nothing but more work for them ans their job is as hard as enough as it is

 

if you want to make a app, go ahead but make sure that it says it not official

also have fun with learning java and c++, let me tell you it's not fun when it doesn't give you a crash log or a log at all...

Umm...yes?  I hate to break this to you but that's not what this was about, and a Blackberry is very different.

If this would get buried down bottom of first page, someone would make one again after few weeks. This is one of those suggestions that get topic frequently. Same with chat room and some weird and awesome spam protections.
