i7-6700K and 1 GTX 1080 or 2?

Hello, so I want to be able to play at 4k resolution in battlefield one @ 60+ fps. 

 

I'm wondering do I need 1 GTX 1080 or 2?

- I'm getting the ASUS Strix (NON-OC) and i'm afraid of overclocking xD

To get 4k, 60fps consistant you will need 2 1080's or a TitanXP

This is 4K ultra settings on 1 1080. Adjust it a little and you'll be getting 60 no problem. Keep in mind these videos are also pre-release, Nvidia and DICE have a change to optimise it more.

You will be able to get 60 fps if you turn a few settings down/off. But if you want to geek out at 100% maxed out, then you will likely need 2 1080's or a Titan XP as noted in my above post.

I'd get a Titan X (Pascal). You get more VRAM, better performance and MAJOR tech points.

4K is a niece market right now, it'll become a thing to have in a few years. Ultrawide 1440p looks more enjoyable imo. Especially on the X34 or ASUS PG348Q.

I recommend buying a GTX Titan XP for 4k gaming if you wish. However, for now, if you want to game at 1440p, a single GTX 1080 can do just that.
