I just had quick question, I have a Zotac GTX 1070 FE card on the way to replace my current MSI GTX 960 4GB card, and I wanted to know, since I have no other use for the 960, should I use it as a physX card in my secondary slot?

My current specs are as followed:

i7 6700k - with a hyper 212 evo on the way

msi z170a pc mate

gtx 960 4GB

adata 128GB m.2 Sata ssd

Seagate 1TB drive

evga 600 B 600 Watt PSU

You can. You'll only get anything out of it on the few games that actually use PhysX. In a lot of cases, if you use a card that's much weaker than the card you're using to play games, it'll perform worse. Personally, I'd sell it or use it for something else.

You should try it first. Do what Linus did on the video attached by @Enderman. So you'll know whats the best thing to do. I don't know what games you're playing so I don't know if a different card just for PhysX will improve or degrade the performance of your games. Hope I helped.
