online.net and ovh are both to be considered, although i dont have experience with either and options are fairly limited in that price bracket.

--

i'm curious tho, what in the world requires 1GB ram, and doesnt matter spec wise beyond that?

Looking at OHV rn, Just some really really basic web hosting and stuff, I would Host my Server at home (I have lots of powerful PC's and servers) but My internet is 0.5 up and 8 down so not much to be done. I might go for the 2.99 1gb of ram plan.

AWS is the biggest(1/3 of the internet is hosted off it) normally pretty low in price.

if it's for webhosting i'd defenately suggest OVH over online.net, since online.net's service appareantly is less than pleasing, and their systems are regularly flaky. (their low end boxes are basicly running off of non-redundant, daisychained switches)

OVH's low end boxes are all VMs, in a fully redundant virtualisation enviroment. there's very little that can go wrong there.

I bought a domain for cheap though and I am hosting the webapge from my house rn, its very very slow (due to my internet) but it works. Juliantech.es
