Here's an idea for a Holy $h*t Episode:

 

The Getac X500 Server:  Direct Link

 

I found this by googling 'gaming laptops for college' and it was one of the first things to come up.  You can buy it for $11,969 or for 12 easy payments of $1,052 a month for 12 months.  You could even email them for a quote it looks like.

 

Specs (for the 'Barebone' model):

I7-4800QM @ 2.7 GHZ

32GB DDR3 RAM

500GB main SSD

3 1TB Raid HDD

Raid Controller Card

FHD Glossy Display

Nvidia GT 745M 2GB

Mechanical Backlit Keyboard

 

Yea this would be perfect for college...

 

EDIT:  Also imagine how uncomfortable using this thing on a desk would be!  You would have to lift your hands up a foot to type...

EDIT 2: Or an idea for Useless Tech Over $100.

ok, that's just useless as a laptop at all,

even video editing or 3D rendering needs that much power

Wow so it is a horrible laptop with a 1U on the bottom filled with HDDs. The specs are terrible for that price. Can barely play a game

That's a pretty overpriced shitty laptop, you could probs get at least 2 laptops with GTX 1080 SLI for that much..
