Good Socket 478 Cooler

I know Socket 478 is old, but I have GOT to get a new cooler on it. The stock cooler rated for a 2.0GHz Celeron: A)Is getting loud B)Is TOASTY.

 

Does anyone know of a good Socket 478 Cooler? I really want it to be quiet, by the way. And really cool(temperature wise).

Clean it, apply a new thermal paste... Or get a new PC... I think buying anything new for really old PCs is useless, get a new PC...

It's a Pentium 4 2.8GHz, but it's using the wimpy cooler for my old 2.0GHz Celeron.

scythe katana 2 is excellent, i got mine for £10.50 off ebay and it took both a celeron and a p4 up to 1.8v and kept them under 100c

On this one I OC'd it to about 3.65GHz and it was happy to hit 150F.

Because in the US copper is super friggin expensive for some stupid reason.

Its a boutique cooler at this point (not much demand for that socket) this makes it more expensive. Copper is also fairly expensive (as opposed to Aluminum). Those fins are very precision made. All these things drive cost, that being said $41 for a decent cooler isn't that expensive.

Nice rig. BTW, what the hell does FTW stand for on your card? I've seen it a lot, and never bothered to ask what it meant.

Thanks. It means For The Win, its EVGA's branding for an overclocked 660ti, it also has a non-reference PCB, more memory and in theory the GPU chips were 'binned' for quality. Basically its between a 660ti and a 670 in performance. It was a great price to performance ratio when I purchased it.

The highest i've got my p4 was 3.76ghz on 1.825v, but i run it at 3.55ghz when it in the case on 1.55v.

I don't even know what my voltage was at. I just did it in the BIOS for shits and giggles.
