Display Cable Position in SLI Mode

Darkmatter35

I'm currently running Dual GTX 970's from EVGA in my computer. My two 1440p monitors are plugged in via DVI to the two DVI ports on my first GPU. This happens to be the GPU closest to my CPU (The GPU with less open air around it due to my CPU heat sink and my other 970). Would it be better to plug in my monitors to my second GPU that has more air around it? I realized my second "cooler" GPU was dedicated to physx in my nvidia settings and thought to myself that this must be inefficient. Thoughts? Oh and these two cards are being fed air by a 180mm Fan @ 1140RPM in the buttom of my FT02.

Wont make any difference

The second GPU is cooler because SLI scaling is not perfect so the second card will be used less

Okay thanks everyone! god I really wish SLI wasn't so nonsensical sometimes. Waiting for the 1080ti for my single card upgrade
