My temps seem really high now, was lower before, but now that i check again, GPU is at 55 degrees C idle.

IDK what cpu is, because my AMD cpu is stupid and wont tell me temps acuratly,

System is a d5 pump with a dual 180mm rad, only 1 180mm fan on right now. But still, 55 is really high for idle.

Thoughts?

I'm not sure why you are getting that high, maybe the airflow of your case is bad, or ambient temp is just high.

radiator is outside my case, breathing the fresh airconditioned 70 degree (f) air

What other components are on yoyr loop?

Any idea at all what cpu it is?

General check list for custom loops though.

Is your pump functioning

is your block(s) mounted correctly

are fans spinning at proper rpm

is the loop clogged or auffering poor flow rate

FX-6300 and HD7950.

Pumps working, blocks should be fine, havent checked, but was fine before

fans are spinning as always

but actually, my computer bluescreened, and now the temps seem to be lowering.

if overclocked, resset cmos and reboot. Infact, clear cmos either way and see if the problem comes back. Might habe been a mobo issue

I would suggest you to change the radiator position, because the warm air through your radiator is going to your psu.

No, here is a pic, pc is the box on the bottom, rad is the thing on top of the cabinet

plenty of open airflow

Well keep in mind that you only have 180mm of surface area that's getting airflow. Sure, the other side is doing some cooling, but it's not nearly as effective as having two fans. Now if your temperatures have increased, I don't have a clue. Just remember that you have an old amd card and a cpu sharing that 180mm of surface for cooling.

Its been like that for a while. i need to fix my faulty electrical tape and speaker wire connection of the other fan.

Temps are down to 45c, which is normal for the single 180mm fan. Dual 180 gets me like 35c, and thats at minimum speed. So big.

180mm rad is the same amount as 2.25 120mm rads, so it should be fine

So, your pc is in close area? I think that's why gpu temp is really high, because the heat is kept in your pc.

No, the radiator is on top of the cabinet, in the free air.

Look at the picture, plenty of room.

not talking about the radiator, about your pc case

Thats fine, all the heat goes out of my pc case into the radiator.

Only a little mb heat is in the case, and i have ventilation for that.

And just a few weeks ago, my temps were in the 30's with same case.

But ive solved the issue, pc was just being weird and crashed and fixed temps

GPU I MEANT

Doesn't affect cooling what so ever btw. The air that comes out of the rad is barely warmer than ambient air.
