1060 - fan wont stop or be controlled

Hello fellas

i just got my 1060 yday and having a bad experience with it, it's a asus strix 1060 OC card

i can't controll the fan speed no matter what utility program i use, msi afterburner, GPU Tweak II. Tried re-installing everything twice with a proper removal tool.

When i enter a game the fans start to be very load and will keep doing that till i turn off my computer completely, a restart does only have a minor impact apparently.

am i just lost with this card and have to RMA it?

im thinking it might be bios because you tried other software programs and that just leaves the bios

yeah, well the asus strix is actually the most expensive here in Denmark, so i can pick whatever i want, and i know MSI is usally a safe pick.
