CPU Cooler: CM Nepton 240M

MB: ASUS x99 Deluxe ii

Ram: 16gb g.skill v series 3200 mhs

GPU #1: Sapphire R9 380 Nitro (4GB)

GPU #2: Sapphire R9 380 Nitro (4GB)

Monitor: AOC G2770PF - 1ms 144hz

I know the gpus is kinda low end, but might be swapped after a year or so..

How does the rest sound? And is it okay for the next 2-3 years?

#1 That psu is WAYYYYY overkill.

#2 I 101% don't understand why you decided to crossfire two last gen GPUs. Why not get a GTX 1070 or something instead?

#3 6850k ain't worth it you should get a 6800k instead.

If if you want, if you just give me a budget and what you're gonna do with this PC I can make a nice partlist for you.

Also, if you incorporate the suggestions that I made your build should be able to last 2-3 years without having to upgrade anything (not even the GPU as long as you're willing to maybe turn down settings a little in the future).

I had the PSU and gpus from some old testing stuff (Actually got 3x 380s - but they can only crossfire in 2). gonna add 2x 1080 later on. reason for the cpu is that i would like to have the 40 lanes, also im gonna use the thunderbolt 3 card for extra storage.

Ah right ok.

I would say if it is just a gaming pc then a regular 850 EVO would do fine for the SSD. You probably won't need the 40 lane cpu though if you are just doing SLI. Even if you stick with the 950 PRO you can still do x16/x8 for the gpu's.

Are you going to upgrade the Monitor to 4K when you get the 2 x 1080's ?

Not sure why you would use a thunderbolt 3 card for storage....

Anyhow, even if you do that you can still put the GPUs in x8/x8, give x4 to the ssd, x4 to the tb3 card, which uses 24 lanes (giving you still 4 leftover).

Still 1250W is overkill. You should degrade it to 750W.

Edit: Oh I'm an idiot.
