Asus ROG Swift PG278Q or Dell S2716DG

Apoloxy

I'm trying to figure out what Monitor I should buy. I want a 27" monitor with 144 Hz and G-Sync, but I can't decide between those two (see title). Either way i'm open for suggestions too.

Hope you guys can convince me to buy a good monitor which is worth for a while!

Option #1 Dell = 530 bucks including shipping.

Option #2 Asus = 700+ including shipping.

Where I live (The Netherlands) it's €599,- for #1 and €659,- for #2.

As someone having issues with ASUS I would go with the Dell.

As in the PG279Q my brother has is causing a BIOS reset on boot. No one seems to know why. Yes, it sounds crazy but look at my thread.

That's the weirdest thing I've ever seen happen with a monitor, good luck figuring that out!

But it's a different monitor as I might buy the 278Q, but honestly this is a really rare issue that you have there with your brother. Tried contacting Intel/Asus?

Right? I thought he was messing with me when he called. But ASUS support was lacking. We're trying to get a hold of someone again.

Don't email, that's what I learned quickly. Try contacting the manufacturer of the motherboard or Intel and see if they can enlight you in this case.
