i7 6700k not overclocking

You need to get a Z170 board to overclock . . . H170's don't allow it.

I am trying to overclocking my brand new i7 6700k to around 4.4ghz with just a ratio multiplier OC. However my bios will not let me set it higher than 4200mhz and even then, when I stress test, task manager shows it running at stock 4ghz. Intel Turbo Boost is enabled and I am using an Msi H170A Pc Mate motherboard. And CPU ratio mode is set to dynamic instead of fixed. Any help is appreciated.

H170 boards don't allow overclocking. Plain and simple

Bit of an AMD fan I suppose. I don't bias my replies to anything however, I just prefer AMD and their products. Buy whatever the H*CK you want.
