Well I'm in love with MSI but I hear that the VRM circuitry is getting a bit warm! I want to know what card do you recommend?

The only 280X cards that you should avoid are the Gigabyte & the MSI Gaming.
The Gigabyte because it's very loud & the MSI Gaming because it runs too hot.
The rest of the cards are very good, my favorites are probably the Asus DCII, Sapphire Vapor-X & HIS IceQ X², those are the quietest and coolest running 280Xs under $320.

I'd go with the Asus R9 280X DCII just for the looks and the fact that their software allows the card to reach 1.4V. Also heard a bunch of good things about it from a cooling point of view. But there's a premium of $70 over the reference MSRP, and the gap to the Matrix is double that premium (in Canada at least).

Looks like MSI should stick with NVIDIA :c

I was staring at Asus but considering the fact that I hear the customer support is SHIT, I don't know what to do

Well there's always the ASUS R9 280X Matrix Platinum... But that's quite a chunk of graphicscard, personally I prefer a 2-slot solution.

3 SLots are WAY too much :P

I would go with the Asus DCU II or Matrix Platinum. Them sexy heatsinks...

I like the color scheme of Noctua fans. Deal with it. Forget about the bad memories of the past.
