3d printing for cheap

I was wondering if there was a 3d printing service that would allow me to print a u shaped computer case where the motherboard went on top and the PSU and drives went on the bottom. I can make the blueprint but I just want the cost to be like $10

You'll likely need to 3d model it by certain guide lines for any company...but 10 bucks would likely be less than the cost of the filament, raise that price exponentially for any usable case.

I imagine it would take a considerable amount of time to print a computer case.  time=money so probably a considerable amount of money if so.

I have a 3D-printer. I've had people print small models for me in the past for $30-40. 

For what you've described, probably $5 in actual plastic filament + 10-15hrs of print time depending on the layer resolution and infill. 

 

edit: I would go into your local 3d-printer store and ask them to do it for you.

Yeah for $10 isn't going to happen. Maybe if you did it yourself on your own printer, It would probably close to that price in material, but it depends on what form factor you're going for. By the way, it takes a really long time just to model a case. This one took me nearly a year to finish. And even then, I never printed it. It's an matx case.
