Probably get around 16gb in two sticks for a 4 slot motherboard so you don't overspend and have slots to add more later on

a i5 4-core, 16gb RAM, 128GB SSD will be enough for a server

dedicate +8GB RAM to the server and have a MB/network card with ad least 10/100/1000, with 50 people playing this will speed it up perfectly,
