I see the next Scrapyard Wars is going to be retro.

Mac - 1.4ghz i5, 4GB DDR3 1600mhz, Intel HD 5000.  x2

sometimes, depends on what I need, but I keep a supply of old PC parts so I don't have to buy it.

Repairs to old computers is a big thing. Of course, most computers from this era are long gone but some exist. In some hospitals for example, they use computers that are 15+ years old with integrated Windows 2000 and stuff like that.

I got 8GB DDR2 for $70 US on Amazon

 

I had to get DDR2 because it's a lot cheaper than upgrading everything. I still need something better than my dual core
