What is .pps?

Hi all,

Just have a quick questions because one of my friends has sent me a sort of file and when I open it in BS.Player it only displays the sound? Is it supposed to be like this or is it supposed to be a video too? Thanks in advanced!

.pps stands for PowerPoint Show,its for a slide show presentation used by Microsoft PowerPoint,they can be viewed in PowerPoint,PowerPoint Viewer

Isn't it Powerpoint? If not then I recommend using VLC Player to open if it's a video file.

Like others say, it's a Powerpoint slideshow.

 

BS Player plays it as a music file because the slideshow has music in it, and bs player just searched in the file until it found the "signature" of an audio file and started playing that. It's just coincidence that the presentation had an audio file, otherwise BS Player wouldn't load it at all.
