I honestly Don't feel like buying from anyone else other than Razer. They seem like they have great products and I'll find a cheap keyboard on there if I have to. Keep giving me suggestions though. I'll be looking at them :P

Yes, super steep prices, for peripherals that don't work as well as they should for that price point.

I know the K70 speed rgb is same price, but it has way more quality than Razer products,

Ew. That Corsair Thing looks Horrible In my opinion. The thing dragging off of the Keyboard at the bottom (Space bar area) I Don't like that. I'd Prefer Razer Keyboards. Hey. We all got opinions.

Please, I see that your new to PC building, and peripherals, so please, trust the people that know what is good and what isn't. I was like you one time, and only wanted razer products. I actually have an old Blackwidow Ultimate. It isn't that good, I bought the k70 speed, and it has a noticable difference

And that is wrist support is detachable btw. When you remove that, it in all honesty looks like a Razer,

If you want to know most people's explanation for "ripoff" its because of meh quality compared to lets say, Corsair (ofc lol) Corsair's aluminum frame compared to razer's plastic frame (blackwidow chroma ) and Khail switches compared to Cherry MX,

In terms of switch quality khail does feel "different" compared to cherry but they are still cherry clones, mostly to make manufacturing khail switches costs less so people think "hey cherry mx is best switches"

Khail switches in terms of like breaking when you type isn't you know crazy, where like 1 month in it will break on you, no they are still pretty good switches Just cheap in terms of quality :P

Could go for cooler master's masterkey pro, but people hate the keycaps/font lol, I love the minimalist design dou

So It looks like the keys have nothing around it and Easily gets stuff in it? No thanks.

Okay...It looks like I have to explain this to you. All the "clicky" keyboards your talking about, they are called mechanical keyboards. each button has a small bump, or actuation point, which sends that click to the PC. Razer made their own bs one switches (buttons), while the rest of the world uses Cherry brand's switches, which are german made, and tested to perfection. The Corsair one I am recommending to you has a type of cherry switch called "Speed", which gives faster actuation points, and all in all, gives better performance

I hate people bashing on Razer and blatantly say it is a rip off without explanation.

I owned tons of mechanical keyboard, from almost all brands.

What I can say about razer, the green 'clicky' switch is just okay, but if you are unlucky, you will get some key that has different feel to other key (less clicky).

You could always do RMA and they will honor this problem. The good thing about Razer is the game support and community, the software is pretty easy to use as well.

If you go with Razer orange 'silent' switch, which is similar to cherry mx brown, I would say it is VERY difficult to differentiate the 2.

If you decided to go with razer, try to buy it from msy.com.au it is generally cheaper than other reseller, and definitely cheaper than the website.

Doesn't mean that other brand will not die after 1 month, heck even DOA. You are just bad luck, what's the most important part is how they handle the RMA?

Mine was swapped on the spot, no funky test or anything

if you like clicky then there is no point in getting a corsair k70 because the speed switch is now tactile "clicky" the only mx switch that is comparable to the razer one is the blue or brown, I suggest going to a store or ordering one of those things with many switches to try. I personally say that the mx speed switch is for gaming speed as it is 40 percent faster than the razer ones but the mx speed is not nice for typing, i personally say if you can afford it get both but that is stupid. I find that the best keyboard for typing and gaming is a razer one. but if speed maters for you go for the speed switch

It's the switch I'm talking about. The MX silent reds and MX speeds are SUPER mushy

I'm just saying there's membrane keyboards that feel more mechanical than reds. Your comment is a given on this thread...
